Shilpa Deshmukh

 

Shilpa Deshmukh is a qualified English lawyer with over 25 years experience teaching professional English.

​

After completing her law and postgraduate degree at the University of Oxford, Shilpa went on to complete her professional training at top city law firm  Slaughter &  May  and to subsequently to work in London-based international law firms, where she specialized in corporate and banking law.  She travelled extensively as part of her professional life and has worked in both the Middle and Far East.

​It was during this time that she recognized a growing need for professional English which led her into teaching and eventually to found SD Legal and Business English. Specializing in working with law firms and finance professionals, to ensure they and their employees have the English language skills required to effectively do their job and create the best impression.
